Lowfeye, following a standout solo run and a successful year with cultural collective The Qwellers, leads the track with a gripping hook and a verse that balances vulnerability with vision. Emtee, coming off his Metro FM Award win for Best Produced Album (DIY 3), adds a raw, resolute performance — reinforcing his position as one of the most enduring voices in African hip-hop. “Year 64” also marks the official debut of MODAR, acronym for Making Our Dreams A Reality, a creative collaboration platform founded by Nivo — whose A&R and music marketing work has helped shape some of the continent’s most impactful records.
